This afternoon I noticed a strange shimmer right behind my shed in the backyard. I poked it with my hand and it felt like stepping into air that wasn’t quite air. There was an odd metallic smell, and the sunlight flickered strangely through the backyard trees.

I tossed a rock through it and it disappeared halfway. Some photos from my disposable camera showed weird streaks of light where the shimmer was. I’m calling it the 'Backrooms' for now — it seems like a hidden, endless space behind normal walls. Has anyone else seen anything like this?
